Built from experience. Driven by innovation. Focused on the future of rail.
Industrial Track Solutions (ITS) was founded in 2024 by Dana Haake, Vice-President of Yount Construction Co, a family-owned railroad contractor located near Charlotte, NC.
Through that work, Dana saw the same problems surface again and again for YCC’s industrial track customers, many of which were costly, risky challenges—issues that weren’t insurmountable but had simply never been addressed with fresh thinking. Dana realized that with the right combination of industry knowledge, innovative problem-solving, and product design, solutions could be created to transform how industrial track is built, maintained, and operated. That realization became the spark for Industrial Track Solutions.
In 2025, ITS developed its first flagship product: SwitchPath Lights, a breakthrough safety system designed to reduce “run-through switches”—the leading cause of costly and dangerous track damage. After months of design, engineering, and on-track testing, ITS plans to formally launch this product in late 2025.
But SwitchPath Lights is just the beginning. From reimagining simple track components like foot latches to advancing AI- and computer vision–powered solutions, ITS is committed to developing technologies that make industrial rail safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
While ITS began with a focus on industry track, the company’s innovations also hold clear potential for Class I railroads, especially in high-volume environments like intermodal yards.
Industrial Track Solutions is a new company with a big mission: to bring modern innovation to an industry that has long been underserved—delivering products that improve safety, reduce costs, and set a new standard for rail operations.
